RUSAL output rises 1.2% to 950,000 tns in Oct–Dec

MOSCOW, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- The aluminum output of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL rose 1.2% on the year to 950,000 tonnes in October–December 2020, the company said in a statement on Monday.

In 2020, RUSAL decreased its aluminum output by 0.1% to 3.755 million tonnes.

Aluminum sales fell 6% to 3.926 million tonnes in 2020, with the average aluminum price decreasing by 6% to U.S. $1,805 per tonne.

In October–December, aluminum sales grew 2% to 1.028 million tonnes, with the average aluminum price rising by 10.1% to $1,940 per tonne.
